This is the apiary, a place where bees are kept. Our honey is only coarsely strained, so it does contain pollen which helps many allergy sufferers... We have been most fortunate to not have had to use any chemicals on the bees....many of the problems todays beekeepers face can be handled with management techniques and essential oils.

| Next year we will be collecting pollen and hope to have some of that for sale as well. The process by which bees collect pollen and bring it back to the hive is fascinating. I am planning to enroll in the Master Beekeeping Program which will be held at UT in the near future. |
